Deep Tissue is effective for releasing chronic stress areas due to misalignment, repetitive motions, and past injuries. Soreness is common after the treatment, and drinking plenty of water is encouraged to aid with the flushing of toxins that have been released from the session. Sports Massage enhances performance, prevents injury, reduces pain and swelling in the body, relaxes the mind, increases flexibility, and dramatically improves recovery rates.

Shiatsu

Shiatsu is a Japanese form of massage therapy. The word Shiatsu comes from two Japanese words - "shi" (finger) and "atsu" (pressure). In addition to the direct stimulation of pressure points along the energy pathways of your body, gentle stretching techniques are applied over a wider area of the body to integrate the point work and encourage the flow of Chi (energy) throughout the body. Shiatsu is a meditative healing art that honors the body, mind and spirit.

Pregnancy Massage

60 minutes: $70

Pregnancy Massage is a style of bodywork designed specifically for pregnant women. Pregnancy is a time when a woman's body endures tremendous stress due to dramatic physical and emotional changes. Using various techniques specially developed for the expecting mother, Pregnancy Massage helps release the pain and discomfort experienced throughout pregnancy. The benefits are profound, including emotional support, the relief of joint pain due to extra weight and postural imbalance, and improved breathing and relaxation.

Cupping

30 minutes: $40

With cupping's popularity on the rise, we are proud to be certified in this healing modality. Suction is created with the use of glass or silicone to lift soft tissue and allow the break up stagnation and adhesions. By doing so, the flow of nutrients and hydration will be encouraged, aiding in recovery of injury or overuse. Strong communication is encouraged during a cupping session, especially if it is your first time.

Gua Sha

30 minutes: $40

This Ancient form of Eastern Medicine is best known as "racking sand."  A round-edged tool to is used to raise stagnation in the body.  Benefits include: increasing range of motion, breaks up any scar tissue from surgery or injury, decreases recovery time of muscle soreness, aids in the conditions of high blood pressure, anxiety, fatigue, chronic headaches, and fibromyalgia. It also is a great tool to break up flem in the body caused by the common cold.
